Rose Conley

Rose Conley is a Lecturer in the Department of English at New Mexico State University (NMSU). She teaches courses such as Women Writers, Children’s and Young Adult Literature, Writing in the Humanities and Social Sciences: Women across Media, Principles of Literature, Principles of Film, and Business and Professional Communication. Her pedagogical approach emphasizes diversity in cultural, historical, ethnic, racial, and international contexts, blending lecture with student-led discussions and detailed feedback to enhance writing and critical thinking skills.

• Education: M.A. (2005) and B.A. in English (2003) from New Mexico State University

Her research and teaching interests focus on modern literature, feminist theory, and the intersection of cultural/film studies with communication. She continuously adapts course content based on student evaluations to optimize learning outcomes.
