Ronnie Clark is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford, affiliated with the Oxford Perceptual Intelligence and Extended Reality Lab (PIXL). His research focuses on bridging the gap between the real and digital worlds through photorealistic 3D scene reconstruction and computer vision techniques.
Clark holds an MSc from the University of the Witwatersrand and a DPhil from the University of Oxford. He previously worked at the Dyson Robotics Lab (2017–2020) and held an Imperial College Research Fellowship. He joined Oxford as an Associate Professor in 2022.
His research interests include Neural Rendering, Dense Visual SLAM, and Scene Understanding, with applications in Mixed Reality, Home Robotics, and Physical Sciences. He has advised multiple students and received the Best Paper Honourable Mention at CVPR 2018.
