Ronja Heinelt

Ronja Heinelt is a Research Associate at the University of Hamburg's Faculty of Education, specializing in historical educational research and discourse analysis. Her doctoral work examines the conceptualization of 'nation' in German pedagogy between 1919-1965.

Research interests focus on educational discourses surrounding nationalism, right-wing extremism, and migration. Current projects analyze knowledge production about Turkish culture in German pedagogical texts from 1839-1945.

Publications address normalization of far-right ideologies and historical accountability in educational institutions. Teaches qualitative research methods and educational theory.
