Ronit Kark is a Full Professor of Leadership and Organizational Psychology at Bar-Ilan University and a Distinguished Research Professor at Exeter University. She leads the 'Gender in the Field Graduate Program' at Bar-Ilan and collaborates with the Center for Gender in Organizations at Simmons College. Her research focuses on leadership dynamics, gender equity, identity processes, and organizational creativity. Kark holds a PhD from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and completed postdoctoral studies at the University of Michigan.
Her work bridges leadership theory with practical applications, emphasizing gendered norms in management and strategies for inclusive workplaces. She serves on editorial boards of top journals (e.g., Leadership Quarterly) and advises NGOs promoting gender equality. Key awards include the 2000 L’Oréal-Recanati Prize and 2016 Bar-Ilan Rector Prize.
As a TUM-IAS Anna Boyksen Fellow (2022), her focus group addresses men’s allyship in gender equality initiatives. Recent publications explore leader impostorism, paradox navigation in women’s leadership, and gendered ethics in management.
