Prof. Ronald Stolk is a Professor in the Department of Life Course Epidemiology (LCE) at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG). His work focuses on epidemiological research in diabetes, genetic variants, and long-term disease comorbidity. He actively contributes to biobanking ethics, data privacy, and societal impacts of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence.
Stolk leads the Lifelines Biobank project, a longitudinal cohort study, and has published over 300 peer-reviewed articles.
