Ronald E. Smelser

Ronald E. Smelser is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is affiliated with the William States Lee College of Engineering and holds the Honors Faculty title until June 30, 2027. His research focuses on deformation processing, materials structure relations, and failure analysis.
