Ronald D Adelman

Ronald D. Adelman, M.D., is the Emilie Roy Corey Professor of Geriatrics and Gerontology at Weill Cornell Medical College, Cornell University. He serves as Co-Chief of the Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. His roles include Executive Medical Director of the Center on Aging, Director of the Center for Aging Research and Clinical Care, and Director of Adult Palliative Care at the same institution. Dr. Adelman completed his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1978.

His research focuses on older patient-physician communication, caregiving dynamics, and palliative care innovations. He is dually board-certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, with proficiency in English.
