Ron Maurey

Ron Maurey is a Lecturer in Music at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College under the School of Arts, Letters & Music. He has served as an Instructor of Music (Piano) at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College since 1994 and an Adjunct Professor of Piano at Asbury College. Maintaining an independent piano studio since 1977, he has extensive experience in vocal accompaniment and choral support.

• B.S. in Liberal Arts/Music Performance from Indiana State University
• Graduate studies at Asbury Theological Seminary and Indiana State University

His professional contributions span accompaniment for ISSMA contests, church music, and summer theater productions. He has directed choirs for the Brazil Community Choir (1980–1987) and Epworth United Methodist Church, while collaborating on sacred music duos (piano/organ) and supporting educational retreats for the Indiana United Methodist Women.
