Romano Verdieri

Romano Verdieri is a part-time Lecturer and Program Director at the Institute of Civil Engineering IBI (IBI) within the Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture (HSLU). He leads the CAS in Strategic Project Management in Construction and focuses on integrating practical industry experience with academic instruction. His primary role involves teaching and developing programs that bridge organizational development, portfolio management, and cross-project collaboration in the construction sector.

• Dipl. Bauingenieur ETH from ETH Zurich (1999)
• Executive MBA (EMBA) from University of Rochester and University of Bern (2009-2010)

Research & Expertise: Verdieri specializes in Lean Construction methodologies, process optimization, and corporate development within the construction and building materials industries. His work emphasizes practical applications such as supply chain logistics, project management frameworks, and strategic planning for firms in the construction sector. He draws from over two decades of industry experience in leadership roles across Holcim, Implenia, and 4B AG.

Professional Roles: As CEO and founder of Constream, he advises firms on process improvements and business development. His career includes leadership in Holcim’s aggregates production, Implenia’s Lean Management initiatives, and executive roles in corporate strategy for construction-related enterprises.
