Roman Rudenko

Roman Rudenko is a University Assistant (pre-doc) at the Institute for Nonprofit Management and Governance at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business. He holds an MA degree and focuses on the role of nonprofit organizations in collaborative local governance, particularly their ability to meet residents’ expressive needs.

• Education: MA in Political Science (University of Vienna, University of Bologna)

His research spans civil society engagement in response to the Russian war of aggression, participatory and deliberative democracy at the local level, refugee labor market integration, and cooperative resilience during crises. Rudenko has worked at institutions such as the Austrian Institute for International Politics (OIIP), the Sociological Association of Ukraine, the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), the University of Vienna, and Danube University Krems.
