Roman Perucki

Roman Perucki is a Professor at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where he has taught organ since 1997 and served as Vice-Rector for Artistic Affairs (1996–1999). He leads the Department of Organ, Harpsichord, Accordion, and Guitar and directs the Academy of Improvisation. His career spans over 2,500 recitals in major global venues, including Notre Dame and the Mariinsky Theater, and he has mentored international competition winners.

Fields of Interest: Organ Music, Music Theory, Performance Practice, Cultural Heritage, Artistic Direction, Organ Restoration.

As artistic director of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic (1993–1997), he initiated the Gdańsk Music and Congress Center. He founded international festivals like the International Festival of Organ Music at Oliwa Cathedral and serves as principal organist of the Oliwa Archcathedral.
