About
Romain CRAVIC is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Université Grenoble Alpes, affiliated with INRIA Grenoble and the POLARIS research team. He is currently pursuing his PhD since 2021, focusing on learning algorithms in stochastic games under the supervision of Nicolas Gast and Bruno Gaujal.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics (2019)
- Teaching experience in Linear Algebra, Python programming, System and programming environment, and digital modeling
Research interests:
- Black box learning in stochastic games with complete information (e.g., optimistic Q-learning)
- Solving games with incomplete information (e.g., Monte-Carlo CFR algorithms)
- Optimization under uncertainty and reinforcement learning in dynamic environments
