Rohan Shirwaiker is the Distinguished James T. Ryan Professor in Industrial & Systems Engineering (ISE) at North Carolina State University's College of Engineering. He holds associate faculty appointments in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering. As Co-Director of the $30 million Bezos Center for Sustainable Protein, he leads cutting-edge research in biomanufacturing and 3D biofabrication.
