Roger Russell

Dr. Roger Russell is a Part-Time Lecturer of Management at Crandall University with extensive international experience across academia and industry. Holding a PhD in International Management from Curtin University, his teaching spans intercultural management, international business, and applied research projects.

His research examines cross-cultural management challenges, particularly:

• Expatriate-host country national dynamics
• Cultural immersion paradoxes
• Qualitative phenomenological approaches

Recent publications analyze power dynamics in international assignments, Indonesian workplace interactions, and pedagogical approaches for intercultural learning. With over forty years in agriculture, banking, and international development across five Canadian provinces and three countries, he integrates practical experience into teaching.
