Roger Liu

Roger Liu is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Entertainment Design at ArtCenter College of Design. With a 26-year career in the VFX and previs industry, he specializes in previsualization and postvisualization, contributing to high-profile film and commercial projects. His expertise bridges creative vision with technical execution, focusing on asset creation, animation, lighting, and compositing.

Roger is recognized for leadership in guiding teams through previs/postvis processes, ensuring seamless production workflows. He emphasizes innovation and storytelling in his work, mentoring junior artists and fostering collaborative environments.

Currently based at ArtCenter's campuses in Pasadena, CA (Hillside and South Campuses), he teaches courses like EANI-301-01: Previz 2. His professional contributions span both artistic and technical domains, maintaining a focus on advancing visualization practices in media production.
