Dr. Roger Levy is affiliated with the University of Hertfordshire, where he is part of the Schools of Law and Education, and also associated with the Centre for Research in Professional and Work-Related Learning and the Centre for Future Societies Research. His research activity includes leading projects such as evaluations for public sector organizations like Local Authorities and the Teacher Development Agency. More recently, he has been involved in projects like Experiences of an online learning programme of alternative provision for disengaged students (2023-2025) and Developing Doctoral Practice in Shanghai universities (2018-2022). These projects reflect his engagement in fostering professional development in diverse educational contexts, including transnational collaborations and addressing challenges in early years education for children with autism spectrum disorder.
Narrative on advising and grants: Levy has supervised doctoral research on topics such as course evaluation in Sanda University's English extension classes and the experiences of teachers in early career stages.
