Dr. Roger J. Young is Professor and former Associate Dean of Basic Sciences at Saba University School of Medicine. With 30+ years teaching experience, he holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Texas A&M University. His research develops pedagogical innovations for science education across academic levels.
Young has taught diverse student populations including First Peoples communities. Honors include Faculty Excellence and Leadership awards from Drury University. As Course Director for Genetics and Foundations of Clinical Medicine, he promotes active learning strategies.
