Roger George Hearn

Roger George Hearn serves as a Part-time Lecturer and External Lecturer in the Global Health Section of the Department of Public Health at the University of Copenhagen's Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, leveraging extensive field experience from senior UN and NGO leadership roles in conflict zones worldwide.

His research focuses on humanitarian management, peacekeeping operations, and global health, grounded in his doctorate on Southern African peacekeeping and operational leadership during crises including the $500 million Syria Regional Response as Save the Children's Regional Director. His expertise spans conflict-affected regions such as Syria, oPt, East Timor, and Mozambique with organizations including UNRWA, CARE International, and WHO.
