Roger Bonnet

Roger Bonnet is a distinguished researcher in Earth & Cosmic Sciences, with a career spanning over four decades in prominent space science institutions. He currently serves as Executive Director at the International Space Science Institute (ISSI) since 2003, following leadership roles at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), the European Space Agency (ESA), and the French National Space Agency (CNES).

His research focuses on Astronomy, Space Science, and Planetary Physics, with significant contributions to space mission design and international collaboration. He has held advisory roles, including for the 'Aurora' programme (2001-2006), and chaired ESA’s Science Advisory Committee (1977-1979).
