Roger B. Porter is the IBM Professor of Business and Government at the Harvard Kennedy School, where he has been a faculty member since 1977. His career blends academic expertise with high-level policy experience, including roles as Assistant to the President for Economic and Domestic Policy (1989-1993), Director of the White House Office of Policy Development under Reagan, and Executive Secretary of the President’s Economic Policy Board during Ford’s administration.
