Dr. Rodrigo Picos Gayá is an Associate Professor in the Physics Department at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), Spain. Since 2002, he has been actively involved in teaching and research, focusing on electronics and integrated circuits. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from UIB (2006), following his Bachelor (1996) and Master (1998) degrees in the same field. His research interests include design, testing, and diagnosis of integrated circuits (analog, mixed-signal, RF), device modeling, and electronic instrumentation. He has authored/co-authored over 50 scientific publications. He is a member of the Spanish Physics Society and a Senior Member of the IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS).
Teaching responsibilities include courses such as 'Electrotècnia,' 'Microelectrònica,' and 'Instal·lacions de Telecomunicació I' across undergraduate and master’s programs in industrial engineering and telematics. He supervises doctoral theses in the Doctorat en Enginyeria Electrònica. He is a member of the consolidated R&D group 'Enginyeria Electrònica (GEE)' at UIB.
