Rodney Stanley, PhD, serves as Interim Dean of the College of Public Service and Professor in the Department of Public Administration at Tennessee State University. His research examines gaming policy impacts on education funding across U.S. states. He previously chaired the Department of Public Administration for 14 years and holds a PhD in Public Administration from Mississippi State University, an MPA from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and a BS in Political Science from Tennessee Temple University.
Stanley teaches graduate courses including Professional Projects (PRST 5998) and Public Policy Implementation (PADM 7410). He is a licensed outdoors enthusiast who balances academic leadership with family activities.
