Rodney Sauder

Rodney Sauder serves as an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the Department of Business at Messiah University, where he teaches Financial Accounting (ACCT 141), Intermediate Accounting II (ACCT 302), Intermediate Accounting III (ACCT 303), Advanced Accounting (ACCT 440), Financial Management (FINA 305), and Business Analytics (BUSA 505). A Messiah University alumnus (B.S. Accounting, 2002) and CPA, he integrates extensive industry experience from KPMG and HOPE International into his pedagogy while maintaining active public accounting practice at Hamilton & Musser. His community leadership includes serving as Treasurer of the Board for Harrisburg Brethren in Christ church and Neighboring Academy, a non-profit he co-founded to support underprivileged high school students.

This practical background informs his focus on real-world applications of accounting principles and business analytics in complex organizational environments.
