Roderick Venekamp, MD, is a Dutch Associate Professor at the Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care (University Medical Center Utrecht) who combines his academic work with general practice (GP) clinical duties. As a principal investigator of the primary care infectious disease research group, he focuses on optimizing prevention, diagnosis, prognosis, and management of common infections in primary care settings. He also contributes to international collaborations through the evidENT team at University College London (UCL), strengthening ties between UMCU and UCL.
