Roderick Murray-Smith

Professor Roderick Murray-Smith is a Professor of Computing Science at the University of Glasgow, affiliated with the School of Computing Science. He leads the Inference, Dynamics and Interaction Research Group and the Information, Data & Analysis Section. Previously, he held positions at institutions including MIT, Technical University of Denmark, and Daimler-Benz Research.

His research focuses on Closed-loop Data Science, Machine Learning in Science, and Mobile Human-Computer Interaction. Notable projects include quantum imaging, music recommender systems, and collaborations with industry leaders like Nokia and Samsung.
