Roderick J. MacRae is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change at York University. He holds a PhD and MSc in Agriculture from McGill University, and a BA in History from Acadia University. His research focuses on developing coherent national food policies for Canada, analyzing regulatory frameworks for pesticides and genetically engineered crops, and strategies to localize food systems.
