Robyn York

Robyn York is an Associate Professor of Exercise Science and Director of the College of Science and Human Services at Montreat College. She joined Montreat College in 2018 after teaching at California State University, Fullerton for 12 years, where she focused on musculoskeletal anatomy and foundational biomechanics.

Dr. York’s research interests span Exercise Science, Biomechanics, and Musculoskeletal Anatomy, with a secondary focus on Adult Learning in higher education. Her expertise in biomechanics and anatomy, developed through academic roles at multiple institutions, informs her teaching and leadership in exercise science.
