Robin Stubbs is a Lecturer in the Department of Architecture at South East Technological University (SETU), holding roles since 2001 including Course Leadership, Programme Development, and Researcher. He currently serves as Research Lead for the SABRE initiative and Digital Innovator for Pillar 3 of the Build Digital Project. External roles include International Advisor at Fanshawe College, External Examiner at Wolverhampton University and Cork Institute of Technology, and Scientific Committee member for the International Congress of Architectural Technology.
Education: PhD in Virtual Environments (University of Glasgow, 2013–2020), MSc in Urban Planning (University College Dublin, 2004–2005). His research focuses on BIM technologies, Historic Built Heritage (HBIM), and coastal ecosystem preservation through Digital Twin applications. Co-founder of the BIMC Research Group, he has presented at international conferences and pioneered transdisciplinary approaches to sustainable architecture and environmental conservation.
