She holds a Ph.D. in soil science from Oklahoma State University, along with M.S. degrees in soil science (Utah State University) and civil (environmental) engineering (University of Missouri-Columbia). Her research focuses on chemical contaminant behavior, exposure quantification, and reducing uncertainty in risk assessments. With over 25 years of environmental consulting experience, she specializes in human and wildlife risk assessments for contaminated sites. Prior to her full-time faculty role at Lindenwood (since 2014), she taught part-time at three St. Louis-area institutions while maintaining a consulting career.
