Robin Perlah serves as Interim Dean for the Division of Communication & Creative Media, School of Social Innovation, and Core Division at Champlain College. She also chairs the Creative Studio, directs the graphic design and interaction design programs, and holds the rank of Associate Professor. Her expertise spans photography, visual design, and experimental art, with a focus on digital media's impact on photographic imagery and memory. She earned a Master of Fine Arts in Emergent Media from Champlain College and a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from the University of Vermont.
Her career includes roles as Academic Director of the Emergent Media Center, Assistant Dean, and Program Director for graduate programs. She teaches courses in design history, photography, and visual design, and her art practice explores generative art, data mutations, and image capture methods. Robin is a site evaluator for NASAD, co-director of Vermont’s Technology & Design Institute, and serves on the Vermont Arts Council’s board. She previously ran community art programs and worked as an art teacher, photographer, and photo editor.
