Dr. Robin Hsiung is an Associate Professor in the Division of Neurology, Department of Medicine, at the University of British Columbia. He serves as a staff neurologist at the UBC Hospital Clinic for Alzheimer Disease and Related Disorders and St. Paul’s Hospital. His research focuses on the neurological basis of cognition, early detection of dementia, and translational applications of biomarkers and cognitive assessments.

Dr. Hsiung leads the Frontotemporal Dementia team in the Canadian Consortium on Neurodegeneration and Aging (CCNA) and is President of the Consortium of Canadian Centres for Clinical Cognitive Research (C5R). His work incorporates magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), neuropsychological testing, and clinical trials to predict dementia risk and develop interventions to slow cognitive decline.
