Robin Guy is a Professor of Piano/Collaborative Piano at the University of Northern Iowa's School of Music, where she has served since 1990. She previously chaired the Keyboard Division and maintains an active performance career. Her educational background includes a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Arizona, a Master of Music from Baylor University, and a Bachelor of Music Education (summa cum laude) from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory.
Her research focuses on piano performance, collaborative artistry, and music pedagogy, with emphasis on contemporary works and cross-disciplinary partnerships. She has contributed to seven CD recordings, demonstrating expertise in vocal-instrumental collaboration and modern compositions.

Dr. Guy performs internationally (South America, Russia) with ensembles including the Detroit Symphony Chamber Orchestra and appears on A Prairie Home Companion. She teaches summer programs at Michigan's Interlochen Center for the Arts and adjudicates state competitions.
