Robin Franklin

Dr. Robin Franklin is a full tenured Professor of Education in the College of Education at Charleston Southern University. With 28+ years of professional experience, she holds multiple licenses in P-8 teaching, gifted education, and K-12 administration, and teaches graduate courses in the doctoral program.

• Education: PhD in Educational Leadership (Virginia Commonwealth University), MEd in Administration and Supervision (University of Richmond), BS in Elementary Education (Carson Newman University)

Her research focuses on elementary education, gifted education, creativity, and educational technology. Recent work explores flexible seating impacts on engagement, video technology for teacher reflection, and innovative classroom design.
