Robin D. Foley

Robin D. Foley is an Associate Professor and MSE Undergraduate Advisor in the Department of Materials Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She serves as Undergraduate Program Coordinator and ABET Coordinator for the Materials Engineering program. Her research focuses on metals characterization and manufacturing processes. Additionally, she leads safety initiatives at UAB, including co-chairing a task force to improve safety culture and chairing the UAB Chemical Safety Committee.

She also advocates for safety protocols in engineering education and research environments.
