Robin Crigler is a Visiting Assistant Professor of History at Valparaiso University, College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. from Michigan State University and a B.A. from The College of William and Mary. His teaching interests include the history of race in modern America, African American history, and global settler colonialism.
Dr. Crigler’s research focuses on resistance to the civil rights movement, the evolution of white evangelical institutions during the civil rights era, and the cultural memory of racial progress.
