Robin Clement is an Emerita Senior Lecturer II in the Department of Accounting at the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business. She holds a PhD in Business Administration from Michigan State University (1994), an MBA from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee (1983), and a BS in Business Administration from Ohio State University (1979). Her career includes roles as a staff accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co. and academic positions at Louisiana State University, Tulane University, and Michigan State University.
At the University of Oregon since 2003, Clement served as MAcc Program Director (2004–present), teaching courses like Advanced Accounting and Developing the Business Professional. She established an international study tour for MAcc students and received multiple Dean’s College Service Awards for non-tenure track faculty. Her expertise focuses on financial accounting theory and consolidations.
Her publications include co-authored textbooks such as Advanced Accounting (9th ed.) and Study Guide for Finance Accounting (6th ed.). Notable awards include the 2016 Outstanding MAcc Instructor and recognition for teaching and research excellence at prior institutions.
