Roberto Pinheiro

Dr. Roberto Pinheiro is a Visiting Researcher in the Department of Zoology at the University of Cambridge. Holding a PhD in Soil Science from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (2022), his research focuses on the environmental impacts of sugarcane cultivation, particularly land use change effects on soil carbon, soil health, and greenhouse gas emissions (CO2 and N2O). He uses large datasets to explore sustainable agricultural practices under varying climatic conditions and future climate scenarios.
