Roberto Gedaly

Roberto Gedaly is a Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Kentucky, serving as Chief of the Abdominal Transplant Section and Director of the UK Transplant Center. He is also a member of the Markey Cancer Center and the Translational Oncology Research Program. His work contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goal of ensuring health and well-being through advancements in transplantation and oncology.

Recent studies focus on regulatory T cell manufacturing under oxidative stress, immunogenicity of vaccines in transplant recipients, and long-term outcomes in renal transplantation. His collaborations include institutions like Veloxis Pharmaceuticals, Moderna, and Novocure GmbH.
