Roberto Capecci is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Landscape Architecture program at the University of Idaho (U of I) and an adjunct faculty member at Washington State University since 2021. He holds a Master of Architecture (1994) from Università degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza and has been a licensed architect and landscape architect in Italy since 1996. His expertise spans conceptual landscape design, temporary urbanism, and site-specific interventions, emphasizing the intersection of art, architecture, and landscape.
Roberto’s professional career includes founding Land-I archicolture (2000) with Raffaella Sini and Marco Antonini, focusing on environmental and urban design projects. In Singapore, he served as design director at Salad Dressing and taught landscape architecture at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (2012–2016). His pedagogical approach integrates experimental design studios, service-learning projects, and collaborations with communities.
He teaches courses such as Landscape Analysis and Site Planning, Design Studios, and the Italy Summer Program.
