Roberta Tibbetts

Roberta Tibbetts serves as an Associate Professor of Management at Thomas College, bringing extensive experience from prior teaching roles at USM, UMA, and Mid-State College. Born into a Navy family, she lived in 10 states before settling in Maine, shaping her adaptable educational approach.

Her academic foundation includes:

• A.S. in Business (Medical Assistant Major), Thomas College
• B.S. in Business (Education Major), Thomas College
• M.Ed. in Psychology, University of Maine, Orono

Her professional expertise spans Management, Business Education, and Educational Psychology, demonstrated through her leadership as FBLA Collegiate advisor and presentations at Business Education Association of Maine (where she served as past President) and New England Education Association conferences.

She received the 2023 Advisor Award from FBLA for exceptional student mentorship.

Professor Tibbetts has significantly contributed to academic governance as former Chair of Faculty Forum, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Admissions committees. Her professional service extends to presenting for the American Institute for Education and serving on the Maine Justice Academy Board.
