Roberta Sessoli is a Full Professor of General and Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Florence since 2012. She has held academic positions including Associate Professor (2000-2011) and Associate Researcher (1997-2000) at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Florence. She is a research associate of CNR-ICCOM and a prominent member of the Italian Chemical Society's Scientific Council.
