About
Roberta Cardinale is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Genoa. Her research focuses on Experimental Physics of Fundamental Interactions, particularly at particle colliders like the LHCb experiment. She leads studies in B meson decays, CP violation, and detector technology upgrades for the RICH detector. She also conducts optical astronomy research at the Antola Observatory.
Teaching responsibilities include courses such as Fundamental Interactions at Colliders, Particle Physics, and Computational and Statistical Methods Laboratory at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Her work spans Baryon production mechanisms, lepton-flavor violation searches, and high-energy physics collaborations.
Current projects include hc charmonium state cross-section measurements, RICH detector Phase-2 upgrades, and SiPM sensor characterization. Her office is located on Floor 8, Room 817 at via Dodecaneso 33, Genoa. Appointments are arranged via email or MS Teams.
