Robert Wetzel

Robert Wetzel is a Studio Artist Teacher specializing in Classical Guitar at San Diego State University's Music Department, with over 30 years of experience training advanced guitarists. His pedagogical approach is rooted in the Romero guitar tradition.

As co-founder of the Odeum Guitar Duo and artistic director of Concert Hall Records, his work bridges performance, recording, and music transcription. NASA selected his album 'Forgotten Romance' for space shuttle Endeavour's final mission.

His research interests include Spanish classical repertoire interpretation, ensemble performance techniques, and pedagogical methodologies for advanced guitar instruction.
