Robert Ware is an Adjunct Research Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Carleton University, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. He holds a B.A. from Cornell University and a D.Phil. from the University of Oxford.

Recent Publications focus on Marxist emancipation theories, socialist goals, and reflections on Chinese Marxism. His 2019 book, Marx on Emancipation and Socialist Goals: Retrieving Marx for the Future, explores the relevance of Marx's ideas in contemporary contexts.
