Dr. hab. Robert Walaszek, prof. AKF is a Professor at the Department of Recreation and Biological Regeneration, part of the Institute of Recreation and Sports in Space within the Faculty of Tourism and Recreation at the Academy of Physical Culture in Krakow. He holds a master's degree from the Academy of Physical Education (1986), a PhD in physical education (1998), and a habilitation (2017). His expertise focuses on physiotherapy for musculoskeletal disorders, wellness, therapeutic massage, and health training. He is a member of the Academy’s Scientific Council (2024–2028) and has supervised 266 master’s and 174 bachelor’s theses.
Research interests include posture assessment, health promotion, manual therapy, and rehabilitation.
