Robert Wade Kenny

Robert Wade Kenny was a Professor in Communication Studies at Mount Saint Vincent University (2004-2024) with degrees from Saint Mary's University and University of Pittsburgh. He specialized in communication ethics and rhetorical studies, focusing on philosophers like Burke, Heidegger, and Kant. He chaired the department's Research Ethics Board and received the Teaching Excellence Award in 2012.

His scholarly work examined agency and ethics in moral life, with recent studies on Miguel de Unamuno's philosophy. Beyond academia, he was an accomplished musician and writer who enjoyed travel, particularly to Spain.
