Dr. Robert V. Duncan is a Professor and President’s Distinguished Chair in Physics at Texas Tech University. His research spans low-temperature physics, condensed matter, critical phenomena, and quantum nucleonics, with leadership in NASA microgravity experiments. He directs the Center for Emerging Energy Sciences, exploring nuclear reactions in metal hydrides. Awards include Fellowships in the National Academy of Inventors and American Physical Society.
Education includes a Ph.D. from UC Santa Barbara (1988) and B.S. from MIT (1982). Prior roles include Vice President for Research at TTU and faculty positions at the University of Missouri and University of New Mexico.
