Robert Smith

Robert Smith is a Lecturer in the History Faculty at Pittsburg State University, where he has taught since 2015. He specializes in US and World History courses, including HIST 101 (World History to 1500) and HIST 202 (American History from 1865). His research focuses on military aviation history, scientific racism, and the US eugenics movement.

Smith holds an MA in History from Pittsburg State University (2014) where his thesis examined scientific racism in 19th-century America, and a BA in Librarianship and Russian from Brighton Polytechnic (1980).
