Robert Sarmiento

Dr. Robert Sarmiento is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Queen’s University, joining the Division of Neurology in January 2025. A board-certified neurologist, his expertise spans vascular and stroke neurology, hyperacute stroke care, public health, and medical education.

• Education: Clinical specialty training at University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH), serving as chief resident in 2020; fellowship training completed at University of Alberta Hospital (2023) and Vancouver General Hospital (2024).
