Robert Rubinson serves as the Gilbert A. Holmes Professor of Clinical Theory and Practice and Director of the Mediation Clinic for Families at the University of Baltimore School of Law, holding a J.D. from New York University and B.A. from Columbia University.
His research spans Professional Ethics, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Critical Legal Theory, Poverty Law, and Mediation. He co-authored the leading texts "Ethical Problems in the Practice of Law" (6th ed.) and "Family Mediation: Theory and Practice" (2nd ed.), with articles published in the South Carolina Law Review, Nevada Law Journal, and Clinical Law Review.
